| Since2011, the country has issued a lot of macro policy that leads directly to thesteel industry, such as energy conservation and emission reduction, backward productioncapacity, industry structure adjustment, etc. The steel industry is above all in energysaving and emission reduction among many high energy saving industry. The NDRC（national development and reform commission） enacted a new standard for the steelindustry, announced the key point of resource conservation and environmental protection,stipulated the main goal of emissions reduction about the major pollutants during theperiod of twelfth five years plan. Visibly, the task of energy conservation and emissionreduction that steel industry faced in new era is more difficult and the requirements of lawand regulations are more stringent. With the strengthening of environmental legislation,the improving of environmental laws and regulations, the environmental standards thatsteel enterprise must reach are stricter and stricter. Whether steel enterprise achieve theseenvironmental standards become vital to survival and development.This paper deeply analyses the main methods of environmental management ofAnshan iron and steel company. Based on relevant theories, it concludes that thesuccessful experience and deficiency of Anshan environmental management in order toprovide new ideas for steel industry. We call for iron and steel enterprises to carry out thestrategy of environmental management, establish environmental management system,strengthen the enterprise’s internal environmental management, develop technicalcapabilities to solve the problem of environment, improve the utilization efficiency ofresources. At the same time we call for government agencies actively to strengthen theconstruction of soft environment, reduce enterprise capital pressure and social risk, leadthe transition of the society, make the enterprise to carry out environmental managementmore sufficient confidence. |
