In our country, emulsion explosives are considered as green industrial explosives. Through engineering practice, it has showed that the emulsion explosive has good detonation performance and excellent water resistance, and is very suitable to be popularized. Because of its wide application range, now it has begun to gradually replace the powdery industrial explosive. However, the components of the emulsion explosive containing about10%of water, this makes the explosion power capability is lower than the powdery explosive. Therefore, how to improve the acting ability of emulsion explosive for extending its application scope and theoretical development of industrial explosives.Firstly, the current situation at home and abroad emulsion explosives acting ability and the problems encountered were reviewed, analysis of the basic way to improve the acting ability of emulsion explosive and first adds different proportion sodium perchlorate and aluminum in the explosives to the experiment. Comparisoning of emulsion explosive power of different formulations and analyzing thermally stable of the related formula for emulsion explosive.This article is adding dried ammonium nitrate to the emulsion matrix in order to indirectly reduce the water content, and adding sodium perchlorate and aluminum to improve the acting of emulsion explosive. From the entire experimental process and data processing point of view, by adding dry ammonium nitrate to emulsion explosives, but the fluctuation is big, and the storage stability is poor, prone to breaking. Emulsion explosive is prepared by adding sodium perchlorate in aqueoue solution and aluminum in emulsion explosive matrix, function force increases as the sodium perchorate and aluminum adding then decreases, through different formulation, several experiments obtain that when sodium perchlorate and aluminum content reach12%and15%, function force is the maximum. In such components stores at different times of emulsion explosives are microscopic observation, emulsion explosive particles of just are prepared is smaller and uniform, with the longer, but the particle sizes is different and nonuniform.
