China is a vast coastal country, with a large number of islands as well as rich oceanresources, whose national territorial area reaches960square kilometers. The sea area of Chinareaches300square kilometers including thousands of islands. Among the national economicincome, the island economy occupies a larger proportion, which plays an important role in thenational defense security, resources and environment, ecological system and other aspects aswell. So the island has become a new potential area full of resources for every nation todevelop economy. But the excessive exploitation of human beings to the island has causedgreat damage to the ecological environment, which has gone beyond the natural recoveryfunction of the island. The island originally is a relatively fragile ecological environment, inwhich the human activities are relatively most frequent. And the rough ways have been usedto exploit and develop the islands, thus inevitably brings to the island of the ecologicalenvironment pollution and destruction. So these problems have caused the great concern andattention of human beings. This paper refers to a large number of works and journals, filtratesa large amount of information, reserves the useful data, and makes the island ecosystem safetyassessment. In this paper, the Island of ChangHai County in Dalian has been chosen as anexample to be studied in its resources, population, society and the environment. The SDModel has been used to study and analyze the Island of ChangHai County. The conclusionsshow that the ecological security system curve of the ChangHai Island presents the state ofunsteady rising, moving between the safety and the unsafety. But the overall ecologicalsystem shows a trend of safety. As the intense use and development of human beings to theisland, the island ecosystem security has changed. Human activities have changed the islandnatural ecological system, such as farming around the sea, sea reclamation, and harborconstruction, etc. On the other hand, the changes of the island ecosystem will certainly effecton the island. The island seafood industry, biodiversity, and agriculture, etc., are subject todifferent degrees of influence and destruction. Finally the paper proposes the optimal repairscheme of the population subsystem, resources subsystem, environment subsystem, socialsubsystem and the economic subsystem in the ChangHai island ecosystem. And the researchconclusions provide decision-making reference for the building of ChangHai island ecologicalsecurity.
