Research On Ecological Culture On National Forest City

Since the concept of urban forest was introduced in China in the1980s, the research and practice on urban forest have been implemented profoundly. Especially in recent years, various regions are racing to create urban forest activities vigorously. In fact, creating forest cities is not only the urgent need of changing urban and countryside appearance and improving the living environment, but also the important measure to achieve sustainable development. As a significant content in ecological civilization, ecological culture plays an essential role in the process of creating national forest cities. Therefore, carrying out the research on ecological culture construction can provide valuable theoretical and practical references in guiding the construction of creating national forest cities.This paper studies on forest cities and ecological culture. By methods of literature review, investigation, analysis, evaluation, practice research.It firstly overviews the research background, defines the relevant concepts and specifies the research object. Subsequently, it lists construction experiences of forest cities and ecological culture at home and abroad, and then illustrates the evaluation system of Chinese national forest cities and the evaluation standards for ecological culture construction so as to lay foundation for further researches. The main body of this paper starts at the third chapter. It firstly expounds the historical origin of ecological culture, and then recognizes the rise and changes of ecological culture and grasps the source and occurrence mechanism of ecological culture from historic aspect so as to learn that ecological culture is not only a social phenomenon but also a historical product of human social development. Subsequently, it specifically discusses the manifestation forms and functional characteristics of ecological culture. After summarizing the rich manifestation forms of ecological culture and fully exploring the cultural connotation of ecological culture and cultural expression of the reality, it analyzes the hierarchic construction of ecological culture. Besides, it divides the ecological culture construction of national forest cities into4hierarchies: ecological material culture, ecological spiritual culture, ecological institutional culture and ecological behavioral culture to completely express the construction of ecological culture system for forest cities. Secondly, it expounds the relationship between ecological culture and ecological civilization as well as the theories for ecological civilization construction. The fourth chapter is the core content of this paper. It firstly introduces the construction status of ecological culture in Xintian County and concludes the features of ecological culture for Xintian forest county. It then conducts quantitative research on ecological culture:define the quantitative evaluation indicators and calculate the weight coefficient of various criterion layers through modified analytic hierarchy process (AHP) so as to more scientifically determine the evaluation standard value for various indicators and establish evaluation system. In this way, qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation can be done on ecological culture construction. By evaluating and scoring the ecological culture construction in Xintian County through relevant data, it can be finally found that the score of Xintian County is67.1(100in total), and the level is III (medium) class. The last chapter puts forward the measure of strengthening the construction osf ecological culture, and extracts the core connotation of ecological culture: people-oriented, unity of heaven and man, and imitation of nature to realize the harmony between man and nature. Based on this, it comprehensively promotes the traditional ecological culture, guides the construction of national forests with ecological culture advantage and perfects the ecological culture construction. The main measures include:actively promote the construction of ecological culture system, improve ecological moral accomplishment and awareness of the whole society, implement education and exchange activities on propagandizing ecological culture and enhance participation level of all people.
