Synthesis Of Novel Cationic Asphalt Emulsifier And Their Practical Performance

The asphalt emulsifier not only has excellent practical value in the project of road construction, but also is widely used in many other areas. With the development of modern science and technology, research has been found that cationic asphalt emulsifier has much more applicative value than the earlier one. In this thesis, cationic asphalt emulsifiers of three species with different lipophilic perssad were synthesized through molecular design, and the emulsified asphalt were afterwards prepared. The practical performance of the emulsified asphalt had been researched, which would provide valuable reference for the development of high functional cationic asphalt emulsifier.In this thesis, cyanuric chloride as the raw material, reacted with aliphatic amines, diamine, poly (ethylene glycol methyl ether) and N, N-dimethylpropane-1,3-diamine, and finally generated three types of novel cationic asphalt emulsifiers:GZEA type, SNEA type, SDEA type. The chemical structures of the prepared compounds were confirmed by FT-IR and ESI-MS.The emulsified capacity was measured by the cylinder method. The critical micelle concentrations (CMC) were determined by ring method. The results showed that:GZEA type had good surface activity; in the emulsifying capacity, GZEA type SDEA type were significantly better than SNEA type.Application of three asphalt emulsion asphalt emulsifier, the amount of emulsifier was added by0.5%,1.0%,1.5%. The results showed that:with the increasing amount of emulsifier, emulsifying capacity enhanced. SDEA emulsifying ability was better than the other two emulsifiers.On the storage stability of emulsified asphalt sample, the amount remaining on the sieve and the evaporation residue levels of application performance standard viscosity four were tested. The results showed that:application performance SDEA type emulsified asphalt emulsifier was better than the other two.
