Temporary Supporting Technology has always been a technical problem of headingface.It is more important in large section mechanized excavation face.This article choosetemporary support of large section mechanized excavation face in Hongliulin mine as themain research object, and analyzed the rock failure characteristics and the interactionrelationship between supporting and rock in large section mechanized excavation roadway.The structure and parameters of self-shift support was studied and optimized throughanalyzing concrete project conditions, theoretical calculation, and numerical simulation. Theconstruction organization scheme were determined according to practical situation. Practiceshows that it is improved the stability of surrounding rock in roadway by using self-shifttemporary support which own side anchor system and can staggered move, provided a goodbasic conditions for safe production permanent support in fully mechanized headingFace,solved basic conditions for safe production problems in roadheader mechanizedexcavation face well,enhanced the level of mechanization and automation in roadheadermechanized excavation face.The research provides a successful example and experiencesimilar engineering design.
