With the rapid development of economy and the improving of the people’s livingstandard, gold demand is also increasing, gold mining industry has also obtained therapid development. In order to improve the gold mining efficiency, save the cost ofproduction, increase efficiency, reduce pollution, protect environment, most ofthe gold mining enterprises begin to carry out clean production audit, but there is agreater risk of environmental problems in the gold mining production process, a littlecarelessness will bring unexpected environmental and safety accidents.Carrying out environmental risk assessment on cleaner production audit providesan effective method to solve the problem above mentioned. Environmental riskassessment in cleaner production audit can not only help enterprises find theenvironmental risk problems in production process, but also can be targeted toimprove the related production process and achieve win-win business in the economic,environmental, security and social interests. However, environmental riskassessment in routine cleaner production audit has not been clearly put forward,coupled with uneven cognitive level of the employees, most companies can’tfully understand the role of environmental risk assessment, and even mistaken thedevelopment of environmental risk assessment on cleaner production audit for just atask, a no-return investment.This paper firstly analyses the progress of the development of cleaner productionin the world today and the problems existing in the development, points out thedifference between environmental risk audit and environmental risk impactassessment. This paper based on the theory of cleaner production to introduce thecontent, characteristics and significance of environmental risk audit to the enterprise.Taking the Shaanxi saddle bridge ecological mining mineral500t/d processing systemas an example, this paper explores the technology and technology and method ofthe environmental risk assessment of gold mining enterprises. Through the analysis ofthe environmental risk factors existing in the production process of the goldmining enterprises, we put forward the environment risk audit program andtechnology which are fit for the enterprise. The environmental risks are lowered andthe emissions of toxic substances are reduced at the same time by improvingthe production process, it is of great importance for pollution minimization and efficiency improvement.
