Warpage is one of the thin-wall molding defects in plastic molding processcommon. It is related to many factors mold structure, material properties, injectionmolding parameters, and therefore warpage is a very complex issue. This paperstudies the characteristics instance, choose to study its impact is relatively greater twoaspects, namely the gating system and the injection molding process parameters.In this regard, the main research paper are the following aspects:1. pair of plastic parts to be carried UG modeling study, which was importedinto CAE software Moldflow model, and its mesh, and the product of the originalcasting system and cooling system for modeling and meshing to simulate theinjection molding process. From the simulation results of the gating system and thenpropose four optimization, optimization of the four were simulated from acomprehensive analysis of the injection time, injection pressure, volume shrinkage,warpage weld lines and areas, to determine the optimal casting system solutions.2. On the basis of the obtained optimum gating system optimization, and furtheruse of orthogonal design method and software Moldflow injection molding processparameters are optimized, multi-parameter combination study (mold temperature,melt temperature, injection time, cooling time, Paul time pressure and holdingpressure) effects on warpage, found the best combination of parameters based onorthogonal experiment.3. This paper established a BP neural network model to the injection parametersas input layer, warpage amount of output layer.4. In this paper, the design of the front of the orthogonal experiment as trainingsamples of BP neural grid, BP neural grid model to constantly adjust and useMoldflow simulation results in front of the BP neural Orthogonal mesh model can betested, final establish appropriate BP neural simulation grid, replacing double-counting process CAE software to develop an effective process to save time.
