Through analyzing the basic principle, technical characteristics and application situation of short-path distillation home and abroad, this paper indicates the advantages and disadvantages of unit structure, internal components and auxiliary facilities of existing short-path distillation devices. According to the properties and flow characteristics of waste oil,it designs technical parameters and internal components of 0.8m2 short-path distiller used for separating waste lubricant.lt also does the selection analysis for supporting devices and systems.Under the condition of meeting the feeding rate of 80 to 100 kg/hour in pilot scale test, the single factor research are used to study the distillation temperature, wiped film speed, feeding rate and preheat temperature respectively. The preliminary experimental data are obtained. The technical process is further optimized by orthogonal experiments. Using yield and color of waste lubricating oil as indicators,it determines the technical parameters of pilot short-path distillation in separating heavy lubricant and main factors affecting the yield. The best technical conditions are obtained:preheat temperature 170℃, distillation temperature 212℃, wiped film speed 85rpm/min, residual pressure 20pa.In comparison with the conventional reduced-pressure distillation of separating heavy lubricant, the new process route, whose yield of base oil increases by 10% or so, has been got.Based on the conditions of short-path distillation in pilot test, it provides the amplified parameters and basis for processing large-scale waste heavy oil around 10000 tons per year.Through the complementary research of short-path distillation of lubricate oil, the refining technologies in post-pretreatment are discussed. The affecting factors such as settling time of white clay using for refining, temperature, filtration condition, selection and amount of stabilizer are studied respectively. The optimized post- pretreatment conditions in separating heavy lubricate oil are gained: amount of added white clay 4% twice plus, stirring time 30min, settling time 12h, filtering temperature 80℃, filtering pressure 0.3 Mpa, then adds proper stabilizers. The reclaimed oil does meet national standards by detecting some indacators.
