| the regular frequency of the underwear changing is 1-2 days under normal earth’s environment, especially in summer or sweltering environment underwear is suggested to be changed every day in order to prevent bacteria multiplying, and maintain the good performance of sanitation and comfort of clothing. The typical environment of astronauts work space is as follows:flight under the gas-tight cockpit and 20±5℃condition, space is small, task is heavy, sweating a lot, bacteria is easy to breed, so underwear should be changed every day. The cost of launch the spacecraft is huge for overcoming the gravity, there are stringent restrictions on the weight of cabin load goods, and no conditions to carry too many washed clothes. The astronaut’s trousers should be changed every week but the sock, shirt and underwear need be removed only every two days in space; dirty clothes cannot be washed in space, sealed in a plastic bag back to the ground handling. By counting this, every astronaut needs underwear only no less than fifteen sets if they work in space station for a month, and still cannot guarantee good health and comfort of astronauts. In addition, as the impact of weightlessness, the astronaut would be poor blood circulation, expansion and edema of the body, at the same time bones would be elongation and tallness due to the loss of the shackles of gravity. This series of physiological changes demand astronaut’s underwear should have a good extensibility and flexibility on the physical properties of the fabric to meet the changes in the body and make muscle tension, relieve edema by causing some pressure on the skin. We put forward some demands about underwear as follows:it would have antibacterial and health care functionality, wearing comfort, health and safety by analyzing the special work environment of the astronaut. In the paper, three underwear fabrics which have antibacterial function have been trial-manufactured by matching various types of functional fibers and sample fabric’s wearing index have been tested. The underwear fabric’s index has been tested on moisture regain, tensile deformation properties, pilling, guided wet, moisture permeability, air permeability as antibacterial and health function underwear’s evaluation criteria, to get a good wearing comfort function’s sample program. At the same time the paper analyzes the test method and evaluation criteria of the antibacterial function. The AATCC-147, parallel crossed method, which was selected to detect the antibacterial function of the sample, Confirmed the use of chitin fiber blend ratio of 11% of the sample have a AA grade durable antibacterial effects. As a result, the underwear fabrics with pearl fiber (30%), crustaceans Su-fiber (11%) and cotton (59%) blended program meet the astronaut underwear for antibacterial, health, comfort, safety requirements. |
