China is one of the countries with the most serious geological disasters in the world. The geological hazards are of various types, with a wide range of distribution, and frequent occurrence. In recent years, with the construction scale increasingly expanding, man-made geological disasters are increasingly serious and it’s resulting losses also showed an increasing trend year by year, it has caused a high degree of attention from the state to local ministries. The geological hazards monitoring staff at large gained lots of geological hazards data in a variety of ways, it provides a foundation for the study of the distribution and prevention of disasters. However, disaster risk assessment involves a wide range and requires complex information. Regard to efficient spatial data integrated management and analys is ability of GIS, how to process and analyze data in a centralized manner, so as to realize the disaster risk assessment research based on GIS has very important significance.Experiment of this paper is based on the monitoring of ground fissures. According to the actual needs, completed the design and development of geo-hazard monitoring data management and analysis system. The main achievements of this paper are as follows:1) Analyzed the key technologies of geo-hazard monitoring data management and analysis system design and implement ation. To study and master the system involved in the design and implementat ion of key technologies, focusing on the Com GIS, Arc GIS Engine, Arc SDE and risk assessment model of geological hazards.2) Completed the design of geo-hazard monitoring data management and analys is system structure along with database meets the actual demand of the project team.3) Completed the development of the based-C/S geo-hazard monitoring data management and analys is system with.Net Framework 3.5, Object Oriented developer language C# and Arc GIS Engine development kits of ERSI. The system has realized the function of management, inquiry, analysis and other functions of geological disaster monitoring data.4) For instance, Yanchang, Yan’an, the risk assessment of geological hazards is realized by using the information model based on geo-hazard monitoring data management and analysis system.
