The database of mushroom from Changbai Mountain was constructed based on the extensive collection in fungi data. The database wasbuilt on MySQL management system. It consisted ofthree modules, data management module, data input module, system management module. Data management module is the key to the database, where data were collected, processed and summarized. It consists of 6 parts: basic information, growth environment, morphological description, utility situation, spawn information and specimen information. Data input module was mainly used to import batches of data. System management module included data management and system management, and was used to query, modify, delete data, and system security. The users can check all information through accessing one of sub-module of other data management modules in the data management module. The content of thedatabase contained Latin name, Chinese name, Chinese command name, taxonomic position, nomenclator, published time, morphological description, growth environment, specimen information, spawn information, utility information. It alsointroduces the detailed information of these fungi. In thisdatabase, 951 mushroom were involved, of which 879 species belong to 3 classes, 17 orders, 66 families and 254 genera of Basidiomycota, 72 species belong to 5 classes, 7 orders, 19 families and 35 genera of Ascomycota. The database was designed with multiple searching functions. The searching index arescientific name, ecological environment, morphological characteristics, development situation, germplasm information, specimen information. The database compiled the morphology, ecology, resources and other aspects of macrofungi from Changbai Mountain, which will provide scientific data for further scientific research and for promoting the realization of One-Conservation, One-Herbarium, Five-Banks. Finally we will open source code to the user.
