Urban 3D Landscape Index System Construction And It’s Application

Urban development is in a rapid period now. Horzontal expansion is obvious, at the same time, the vertical expansion of the situation is also becoming more and more obvious. How to analyses the urban landscape of the rapid development in order to meet the challenges of urban planning and build liveable cities is a concern for both government and society. Current research commonly used two-dimensional landscape index mainly from the angle of the plane expansion reflected type of patch shape feature, lacking patch fragmentation, transverse and longitudinal covering proportion, cannot reflect the city’s longitudinal changes. For that, this paper created three-dimensional landscape index analysis series.The research object of this paper is Jinan City Central cadastral vector data, combined with the floor height data in 2001, in 2011. Created three-dimensional landscape index analysis series for reveal urban construction horizontal and vertical landscape space change.Index analysis series was applied to the Jinan City Central ten years of landscape pattern and landscape change research, through 2001 to 2011, analysis the contrast of the three dimensional landscape index before and after. Aggregation Index is higher in 2011, different types of plaque adjacent level is higher; Core Area Index decrease in 2011, the city central scale expansion, and so on characteristics. We get the conclusion of integral to the intensive development of Jinan Central. Vertical landscape changes mainly reflects in low-floor, especially is low-floor adjustment range is larger, the low-floor into multi-floor conclusions, such as to fully disclose the Jinan City Central multidimensional the evolution process of the landscape pattern.
