Philip Kitcher is one of the most outstanding philosophers of science.In the "science, democracy and truth" (2001) and "democratic society in science" (2011), Kitcher put forward conceive of "well-ordered science" on moderate realism perspective. The theoretical goal of this vision, on the one hand provide conceptual tools to analysis related scientific public controversy, such as, Bio Pharmaceutical Technology, the controversy between Special creation theory and theory of evolution, and climate change related disputes; on the other hand providing ideal program to make scientific decision-making.Kitcher believes that the well-ordered science is an ideal state of integration of scientific knowledge and democratic values. The goal of science is to seek the truth which is meaningful, not only has the practical significance, but also includes the cognitive significance. If the scientific significance of the setting in line with the of democratic values, then science meets requirements of well-ordered science. Science should be ordered, under the conditions of participation, through the ideal dialogue to reflect the views of all people.This paper is divided into four chapters. Chapter One introduces the significance of the topic, research status at home and abroad and the innovation and inadequate points; the second chapter introduces the present four scientific controversy, as well as the solution of scientific controversy exist the problems; the third chapter is the key sections of this paper, describes the "well-ordered science" ideal agenda and moderate realism perspective, scientific significance and democratic values and so on; the fourth chapter is the author’s thought of well-ordered science.
