The Baijingshan area is located in medium-northern part of Da Hinggan mountains, interior of Xing’an Plate. Its regional metallogenic location belongs to Dongwuqi-northern part of Da Hinggan mountains Cu-Mo-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au-Ni-Cr-Co III metallogenic belt, Yakeshi-Genhe Pb-Zn-Mo-Au-Cu-Coal-Oil metallogenic sub belt where surfer strong superposition, composite and conversion of two major global-tectonic of the paleo Asian metallogenic domain and the central Pacific metallogenic domain. This metallogenic sub belt has superior metallogenic geological condition, so far, there are many polymetallic mineral resources have been discovered,most of them are Pb-Zn(Ag) and Cu(Mo) deposit. Due to the serious restriction of many factors, our survey area has low level of geological research. Consequently,only one metallic ore deposits was discovered. Therefore, carry out comprehensive information metallogenic prediction in this area, it’s expected to achieve a major breakthrough in metal mineral exploration. This paper is sponsored by the project,Metallogenic prospective research of Baijingshan aera, Hulun Buir, through studying on the regional background and geological characteristics of typical deposits in Bai Jingshan area, discussed the metallogenic background and ore controlling factors,summarized metallogenic regularity and established comprehensive information prospecting model. On the basis of mineral resources geological survey of 1/50000,the author comprehensively analyzed the characteristics of geological, geophysical,geochemical and remoted sensing information about Baijingshan area. Afterwards,under the guidance of comprehensive information prospecting model, the author delineated metallogenic potential areas and verified the favorable metallogenic area with the comprehensive information of 1/10000 geological mapping, soil geochemical,high-precision magnetic measurement. At last, two prospecting target were delineated to do further ore exploration work. The knowledge and the results obtained are as follows:1.On the basis of regional metallogenic background research, the author took Baijingshan lead-zinc deposit as the typical deposit, comprehensively analysed themetallogenic geological conditions, summarized metallogenic regularity and prospeting marks. It found that the relational mineralzation stratums were the upper Devonian Daminshan Formation, the late Jurassic Manketouebo Formation and Baiyingaolao Formation, the relational mineralzation intrusive rocks were the Carboniferous diorite and Cretaceous granite. The mineralization was controlled by the NE trending faults and its secondary NNE faults, often located in the intersection of multiple faults and the contact zone between the strata and rock mass.2.The author re-divided the stratums and intrusive rocks of the survey area.The Middle Jurassic Tuchengzi Formation and silicalite-spilite-keratophyre in Daminshan Formation were first found. We identified the unconformity between the Tuchengzi Formation and Upper Manketouebo Formation,meantime,the intrusive rocks were divided into five periods、eight mapping units.3.The 1/50000 soil geochemical exploration shown that:Ag-Mo-Zn-Pb elements had obvious local enrichment trend, with the possibility of local mineralization. To reveal the assemblages and delineation of anomalies, the author analyzed the distribution of single element by using correlation analysis, cluster analysis and factor analysis. It found that the main geochemical anomaly distributed in the middle of the study area and combined into a geochemical anomaly belt. This NE trending belt is the most important prospecting area, and the main abnormal assemblage is Pb-Zn-Ag-Mo.4. The 1/50000 magnetic measurements shown that, the central part of study area existed a regular magnetic anomaly stripe, which coincided with the results of soil geochemical survey. The ETM remote sensing data of the study area shown this area widely developing linear structures, mainly included NE,NW trending fault. these fault constituted the structure framework of this area and obviously controlled the distribution of strata and rock. The arc structure were mainly ring ridge and gully.5.Under the guidance of comprehensive information prospecting model,combining 1:50000 geological, geochemical, geophysical and remote data of Baijingshan area, the author made a metallogenic prognosis and delineated 5 different grades of prospects. Based on 1/50000 metallogenic prognosis, choose the most likely mineralization area(Shuigou Six Kilometer Area) to do the 1/10000 geological mapping, soil geochemical, high-precision magnetic measurement, found two favourable metallogenic positions for following work.
