With the research of geoscience investigative and the continuing progress of exploration, mass geoscience data has been accumulated in the crisis miner, the era in which we live has been described as the age of information orefinding in terms of mineral exploration. GIS, as a spatial-information-treating technology, has become a powerful tool for multi-source management and metallogenic information extraction. In this article, Author utilizes GIS technology to integrate and manage the multi-information of the geodata(Geology, Geophysic exploration,Geochemical exploration and Remote Sensing data etc.), analyzes the ore-forming geological condition based on three-dimensional digital mineral deposit model, and carries out the prognostication for periphery and deep-seated of Yinan gold deposit by taking the way of prognosis of synthetic information. It will provide a new methods and steps for minerogenetic prediction and estimate of new target area for ore-exploring in Yinan gold deposit of ShanDong. It is made up of four parts as follows:(1) Based on the engineering geological drilling data in mining area, through building the three-dimensional digital mineral deposit model, we discussed the method and process in modeling it, visually revealed the relation in metallogenic space among strata, magmatic rocks, structures and orebody, found out the laws on orebody shape and distribution. The result on analysis of the ore-forming geological condition shows that: gold deposits mainly locate in the contact zone between magmatic rocks and Cambrian strata, or locate in the interlayer slippage zones in Cambrian stratas, and are controlled by rift fractured zones. So the main factors in metallogenic process are strata, magmatic rocks and structures.(2) Based on study of the law of the mineralization in mining area, we have established a series of metallogenic rules. Through using the functions of powerful spatial analysis, data processing and abundant graphics expression in GIS, we have completed the anomaly metallogenic information extraction and analysis on geology, geophysics and geochemistry, and built up the prospecting model of synthetic information. Through applying the method of the combination of analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and fuzzy logic method, we have acquired the target area in working area, and discussed the method and process in multi-information minerogenetic prediction based on GIS.(3) According to the functional requirement and characteristics of prediction data, we adopted visual programming language(Visual Basic) and ESRI'map component(MapObjects2.2), performed the GIS component development, established"the system on metallgenesis prediction based on GIS". Through it, we have completed the integration, management and maintenance on multi-source geoscience information data including geologic, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing etc, and achieved the extraction and analysis on multi-source metallogenic information, and also discussed the process in design and development on GIS-based metallgenesis prediction system.(4) Through applying GIS to the project about gold deposit prediction in Yinan, we discussed the method and process about the application of GIS to the large-scale metallogenic prediction in resources crisis mine. With the application of GIS, the efficiency of metallogenic information extraction and integration can be greatly improved. It will provide a kind of effective method and means for the prognostication for periphery and deep-seated of resources crisis mine, and also promote sustainable development of mine.
