There are many parameters in practical engineering design and people’ life. The upper and lower bounds of the most parameters are limited, When the parameters reach a certain limit, the saturation phenomenon appears in the system. The existence of saturated non-linearity usually destroys the stability and performance, it sometimes even causes serious consequences. Therefore, researches on such issues have profound practical significance and theoretical value, these issues have attracted much attention of the scholars in recent years.The study of such problems has been gradually perfect at home and abroad. This paper further studies the control methods of actuator saturating systems based on previous research about saturation problem. Mainly to hybrid control, variable structure control, reliable control of the actuator saturating systems, the research involves the stability analysis, estimation of domain of attraction and controller design,etc.This paper mainly does the following work:1. This paper introduces the background and significance of topic selection, the development situation of the actuator saturation system, hybrid control, variable structure control and reliable control at home and abroad. By introducing the basic knowledge, including basic concepts, linear matrix inequality(LMI) and Lyapunov stability theory and some important lemmas the paper does theory preparation for later.2. we consider about the hybrid control of linear continuous systems with actuator saturation. Firstly, we focus on the stability of the system with actuator saturation and uncertainty, by using hybrid control method we prove the stability of the system, at the same time give a sufficient condition for the system stability. We also put forward a method about estimation of domain of attraction. Finally, an simulation example is given, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the conclusion is verified.3. we consider about the variable structure control system. It introduces a variablestructure controller. By using Lyapunov stability theory, it gives a sufficient condition for the system stability. It puts forward a method about estimation of domain of attraction. Finally, Matlab tools is used to solve the simulation example, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the conclusion is verified.4. It is mainly on the reliable control problem of a class of continuous time-delay systems with saturated actuator, By using Lyapunov stability theory, the paper puts forward a reliable controller design method, when any sensor failure happening the system can still reach a steady state.In the end, it is a summary and outlook of the study.
