From October 2006 to March 2011, we adopted instantaneous reseroir scanning method and the method of the target for the animals to get all kinds of behavior to observe the whooper swans in sanmenxia. The results show that the whole winter observation period the actions of the whooper swans has strong regularity, activity time distribution proportion for: resting,34.72%,14.27% for forage, maintaining 29.44%, swimming 19.56%, and others 5.44%, over-wintering stage for the main behavior whooper swans were resting and maintenance. Whooper swans their foraging behavior as time goes on to reduce, increased in later wintering. Foraging showed three of the peak in a day, it is respectively in the morning, noon and evening; Resting, and Maintenance behavior and foraging behavior was significantly negative correlation changes, and swimming and foraging behavior are correlated. Alert behavior and social behaviors, proportion of small, but also have certain regularity, warning is always accompanied by foraging and maintenance to occur, and social behaviors, always happened before foraging or after the peak and, when interference occurred.The main results are as follows:1. This thesis is derived by instantaneous scan whooper swans in the proportion of the behavior of the entire winter period and the comparison of the behavior of the segmentation period in winter, a more detailed understanding on the behavior of the whooper swans throughout the winter period. The results show that the whooper swans foraging behavior of wintering period, a larger proportion of resting and maintenance of behaviors, other behavior along with the main act occurred. Means that the whooper swans wintering process, energy consumption in the lowest state has provided a guarantee for the winter.2. This paper from the whooper swans wintering habitat at different times of change were compared, the results show that large swan habitat in the winter period will vary with the level of how much the amount of food, drinking water and safe hidden coefficient changes.
