The study area is located in baotou city binhai new area,58 km long,10 km wide from north and south,covering an area of 200 km2. Geographical coordinates: longitude 109°44’30"~110°14’30", Latitude 40°30’20"~40°35’40"; geothermal hole coordinates longitude 109°51’19", latitude 40°33’21"; Kilometer grid coordinates to:x =4491867,y= 19403039. Through the ground geothermal geological mapping and ground geophysical exploration work, has collected seismic and drilling data, preliminary understanding the geothermal geological conditions in the study area, its are main the feature is the north and the west in the study area affected by the tectonic uplift upwards, the bedrock buried depth is less than 500 m,the study area in southern sag down faulted basin formation.influenced by fracture.southern fault basin is divided into western and eastern fault two basins,including western fault basin basement (cretaceous) buried depth of up to 5000 m,and from west to east, from north to south gradually becomes shallow.Eastern fault basin basement (cretaceous) roof buried depth of up to 4800 m,and from north to south gradually becomes shallow.Two basin mainly for in the tertiary geothermal reservoir,a new sandstone formation.Considering the western basin in the tertiary,on a new series of strata thickness is larger,and around large fault development,eventually determine the geothermal port basin in the west,and provides the geothermal distributed, in 2010 in the hole hole for geothermal,eventually distributed 2604.34m deep,will sign new tertiary system sandstone aquifer between 1577.69 to 2604.34m as a heat reservoir,the lithologic mainly fine sandstone and siltstone,the thickness of 283.0m.Bottom hole temperature 70.8℃,pumping test depth of 75.32m,water 2863.21 m3/d, geothermal water PH value of 8.10,this well is a neutral water;Salinity of 2.95 g/L,brackish water.Total hardness is 117.1 mg/L,soft water.Total content of alpha 0.112 Bq/L,total 0.031 beta radioactive content Bq/L,weak radioactive water.The water temperature is 64℃, belong to low temperature geothermal resources,hot water boiler, heating and water can be used for life.The main anion content of CL-1080mg/L,mg equivalent percentage is 68.79%.Main cationic content of Na+ 979.4 mg/L,mg equivalent percentage was 94.37%,the hot water for Cl-Na water chemistry type.Geothermal field area of 96.31km2,recoverable heat resources of 1.051×1015kj,recoverable resources of 5800 m3/d,namely 211.7×104m3/a.Where the hot water can’t drink,but the watercontainingfluorine,metasilicate,metaborate,iodide,bromide,partialarsenate,stronti um,barium,and hydrogen sulphide,etc.The chemical composition of beneficial to human body, has health care effect to the human body,has a very high medical value.On the basis of resource evaluation,establish the scientific and reasonable mining method,put forward Suggestions on the development and protection of groundwater.
