The geothermal geological characteristics of the depth of Panji Mining Area were systematically studied in this paper, combining the periphery of Panji mining area coal exploration engineering, and based on systematically collected the borehole temperature data of Panji mining area and its periphery. The type of temperature measurement curve was divided, distribution characteristics of geothermal field in the depth of Panji Mining Area and difference between it and the shallow part are study, the control of geological structure in the study area on the geothermal field is expounded from the aspects of fold, fault and magmatic rock, and evaluation of geothermal resources in this area be made by thermal storage method, by using analytical calculation, mathematical statistics, comprehensive theoretical analysis and grey series. The following results have been obtained:1. The temperature curve can be divided into four types, which are concave, convex, concave and convex, and a brief analysis of the causes of temperature curve bending be made.2. The distribution of geotemperature gradient between 2.09-3.62?/hm, an average of 2.67?/hm, which is the minimum in the Panji mining area. Its trend of the extension of the contour line is consistent with the strata strike. It around the anticline axis, with strike is NWW-EW in the south limb and close to SN in the north limb, decreasing from the inside to the periphery near the anticlinal axis.3. The geothermal field in the study area is affected by the heat accumulation of the anticline. Horizontally, the geothermal gradient is controlled by it, decreasing form the axial part of the axis to the periphery. In vertical direction, it controls the temperature curve bending with drilling trace. And the extension trend is also affected by the constrained formation of the Ming Shan fault and the F66 fault, which is manifested by the deflection near the fault, and local anomaly of geothermal field caused by migration of groundwater in different directions in the water conductive fault.4. Although the more distant magmatic intrusion era makes its heat has been all divergent, the intrusion of magmatic rock has a great influence on the thermal physical structure of coal bearing strata, and it has a long lasting influence on the geothermal field in the study area.5.The gray series model is used to predict the depth of ground temperature, and the result is more accurate than that calculated by the geothermal gradient. On this basis, the geothermal reserves is preliminary assessed in heat storage method.
