The World Heritage Sites are the places that as natural feature, geology, geography structure and natural places of interest which have outstanding universal value, some clearly defined living areas of endangered animals and plants and natural distrocts. For a long time, world heritages sites have been suffering serious damages or even devastation from nature and human. So it is urgent to provide more protection for world heritage sites."Three parallel rivers" region is one of the center for China’s three ecological species, it including a lot of scenic areas and nature reserves, they are carrying a large proportion of biodiversity, they are connected on the function and ecological process is very important on research construction ecological network and biodiversity conservation. So the research of "Three parallel rivers" world natural heritage site landscape pattern and ecological connection to the protection and reasonable use this precious natural heritage, biodiversity conservation, improve the regional ecological security have important meaning. The ecological connection is an important research direction in the field of landscape ecology, it plays an important role on ecological processes, such as diffusion, gene flow of biological migration. In this paper,"Three parallel rivers" World Natural Heritage will be discussed,with2010Landsat5TM image as data sources. After the literature study and the data collection, with the help of3S technique Using the method of landscape ecology to research the characteristics of landscape pattern has carried on the system analysis. For various types of landscape ecological function elaboration to the landscape pattern index, objective and scientific evaluation of the ecological function of resistance in the study area. With Least-cost modeling evaluation ecological connectivity and building ecological corridor of each ecological areas. reveals the reason of regional ecological connection differentiation and improving measures are put forward. The results show that forest landscape has the largest area in the research area, the fragmentation of the smallest, conform to landscape matrix. The highest degree of landscape fragmentation is human disturbance area such as agricultural land and construction land, artificial patches’ existence and expansion lead to ecological function plaque still face the risk of being isolated. The degree of ecological connection in the study area is in the low and medium level. The high connection area is small, In general are at low layers of distribution from north to south, with higher levels of distributed in the north, high degree of connection area presents the island shape distribution in the study area. The restriction of the natural environment, driven by economic interests and tourism development brought by the development of population, and the spatial distribution of ecological area is the image the main factors of among the each function areas ecological connection degree of differentiation.
