As an important part of the Silk Road in the history, Xinjiang areas since ancienttimes have been the land of the East-West economic, cultural exchange and fusion,and have been an area with multi nationalities for long time. Along with thedevelopment, the integration an genie communication among the different people hasgot more and more complicated and finally evolved into what it is now with quite afew minorities living together in Xinjiang. In history, Europoid, Mongoloid and themixed type of the two has appeared in the Xinjiang. The change continually happenedin the geographical distribution of both the Europoid East and Mongoloid west, theyare the form the essential part of ancient Xinjiang multi-ethnic.In this paper, theresearch object, Turpan Shengjindian cemetery is the ancient inhabitants live in thisarea, and most likely lived2,000years ago in the Cheshi of people. According torelated research, the ancient Cheshi were formed in addition to the European CentralAsian ethnic types, other European and Mongoloid racial type are also involved.Therefore, some scholars have speculated that "the ancient car division who is likelyto be a mix of sources from a variety of races."In this paper, Turpan Shengjindian materials were unearthed from a morecomprehensive study of physical anthropology, mainly from the following aspects arediscussed. Chapter I take aggressive Shengjindian cemetery excavation andgeographic information background. The second chapter of the sex and ageidentification of these materials has made statistics, calculate the average lifeexpectancy of the ancient inhabitants of the group Shengjindian, and other ancientcompared. Chapter III observed and recorded the skull morphology and continuitydiscontinuity forms Shengjindian group of residents, to obtain the relevant data foranalysis. Chapter IV measurements and collected30skull datas, as a basis for the useof statistical software data obtained, and Shengjindian group to discuss the ancientrace of people. The fifth chapter describes and analyzes the ancient inhabitants of thegroup who Shengjindian bone specimens observed pathological phenomena, including oral diseases, bone trauma and bone disease.
