Research On The Approach Of The Quality Examination Of Digital Topography Maps

The quality of topographic map is the premise of the topographic map of thenormal use. Now that geographic data is widely used in different fields and industry,so the quality detection of topographic map is an important work. With thedevelopment of science and technology, the form of topographic map change fromtraditional map to digital map. The way to obtain map become more convenient. Inorder to keep up with the rapid development of topographic map, the methods for mapdetection also need to become more rapid and accurate. In this paper, digitaltopographic map is selected for the study on quality testing methods. Geospatial dataquality, the selection of quality inspection point, quality assessment, the prototypingof automated detection method and other issues are discussed.In order to understand the quality of digital topographic maps better, we introducetopographic maps to digital data in detail which is the basis of the quality ofgeospatial data presentation, content from the source of geospatial data and the basiccharacteristics of the basic characteristics of geospatial data quality and its detection.On the basis of these, elaborated quality control methods commonly and geospatialdata quality standards used at home and abroad. Quality testing method of digitaltopographic map focuses on the selection of quality detection points. This paper is mainly about the mathematical precision of digital topographic maps detection. Thereare three major classical sampling methods (simple random sampling, stratifiedrandom sampling, systematic sampling method) for samples of the quality testing sites,and statistics, analysis and evaluate the quality of digital topographic maps withsample points collected. Finally, do the prototype design of process automation ofdigital topographic map quality inspection system and verified through digitaltopographic maps.
