There is a lack of the examination and evaluation software for Digital topographical maps in surveying industry. Traditional methods of detection are inefficient; control means of the quality results can't follow related requirements. For the purpose of "Assuring quality of operations, improving production efficiency", for the purpose of "Efficient, the application", I develop "An auto comprehensive evaluation system of Digital topographical maps with the large proportion". It will liberate numerous operator,inspectors from the high-intensity and the cumbersome digital map inspection work.Through the study of digital topographical maps, and comparing to traditional simulative topographic map, we find unique, the basic qualitative characteristics and Listed the inspection content, which of Digital topographical maps; Studying fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and comparing to traditional way, we find Optimal evaluation method.Using VBA language base on AutoCAD platform, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, I developed "An auto comprehensive evaluation system of Digital topographical maps with the large proportion", for inspecting and evaluating the content of digital topographic map. The system can automatically discover errors that digital topographical maps have, and deposit wrong information, then evaluation scoring output to WORD. it has the high degree of automation , a small portion of the system complete with man-machine cooperation.
