The Studies Of Species And Variety On Ephemeroptera In Northern Xinjiang

Through conducting extensive fieldwork and collecting a large number ofmayflies (Ephemeroptera) in the northern region of Xinjiang, we investigates thedistribution of dominating families, genus, species, preponderant species in differentbasins of major rivers, and analysis their biological characteristics, ecologicalcharacteristics, the relevance of various types to local ecological environment.Records and describes the different Xinjiang mayfly species and their ecologicalcharacteristics systematically for the first time. Provides a basis to learn more aboutaquatic resources and find out the germplasm of aquatic insects in Xinjiang. Alsoestablishes the initial foundation in monitoring aquatic ecosystems and water qualitythrough the change of aquatic insect community structure. The results were concludedas follows:1. Identificated all the specimens have been collected over the years, the resultindicated that there are12families,23genuses and23species in Xinjiang,and6species only be identified to genus;9families,18genus and22speciesare new records of Xinjiang.2. Xinjiang new record family, genus, species have been described with detailfeature map in this article, the rest of the species are also described, andprovided keys.3. selected three regions with many of the mayflies to collect mayfly nymphs innorthern Xinjiang, study species distribution and corresponding ecologicaladaptability.4. The preponderant species are Ephemerella ignita, Rhithrogena lepnevae; Theparticular species are Ephemera orientalis, Drunellera tricantha,Uracanthella rufa, Choroterpes facialis, Ephoron nigridorsum, Ameletusmontanus, Baetiella bispinosa, Rhithrogena bajkovae.5.
