Hongge vanadium-titanium magnetite ore field is located in the southeast margin of Yangtze plate, which is influenced by paleo rift of Panxi, formed complex geological body, rich lithologic information and mature magmatic activity.Under excellent conditions of mineralization, the vanadium titanium magnetite was well-developed. Meanwhile, the chromium, cobalt, nickel, and other useful elements also developed. So the region becomes a typical area of the research and exploitation about vanadium titanium magnetite. Hence, this article selects Hongge ore filed as the research target.In this paper,firstly, according to the different types of rocks to establish a feature map. Secondly, based on the spectral characteristics of the main alteration minerals, choose the extraction methods of remote sensing anomalies in research region analyze the distribution of remote sensing anomalies briefly. Thirdly, with the principle of Statistic, figure out the geochemical element background values and threshold of research region, combine with the map of geochemical elements distribution, to obtain the distribution of the geochemical anomaly. At last, through the overlay analysis of multi-sources anomaly information,delineate the metallogenic target region. The main recognition and achievements are listed as follow:(1) Collects the spectrum images by use SVC spectrum machine. Combining with the geological background, summarizes the main rock types and according it to classify the spectral images. Finally, based on the characteristics of the typical rocks to establish the feature maps.(2)Collecting main alteration mineral spectrum images, analyzed their characteristics, and establish the corresponding relationship between spectrum images and remote sensing images. Through the corresponding relationship to determine the extraction methods of remote sensing anomaly. After the preprocessing of ETM+and ASTER image, choose the methods to extract remote sensing anomaly of research region and typical mining area, and analyze the distribution of anomaly briefly. (3) Uses the mean-standard deviation method and iterative method to determinethe geochemical background values and anomaly threshold. Gain the distribution ofgeochemical elements by using ARCGIS spatial analysis module. Based on thecombination of both, delineated the geochemical anomaly area, and then useclustering analysis method to analysis the geochemical anomalies distribution.(4) Through the processing and analysis of basic data above, combinethe remotesensing anomaly and geochemical anomaly in the research area. Analyzes the overlayinformation, indicates the mineralization of multi-sources anomaly information.Depend on multi-sources anomaly information to delineate the prospecting targetarea.
