Object Crayfish is born aggressive, and as a typical behavioral animal model, the aggressive behavior of crayfish is widely studied by experts from all over the world. Sex and reproductive status, as two of the factors that affect the aggressive behavior of crayfish are attract much attention.Foreign experts usually divide the crayfish into reproductive ones and non-reproductive ones. But I believe that the reproductive status can be also divided according to the state of marriage, that is, whether a crayfish has the experience of mating. Therefore, this paper is going to explore the regular pattern of the aggressive behavior of crayfish in mating season, and the difference between crayfish differentiated by sex and state of marriage. Methods There are five groups in this research:group of virgin male, group of virgin female, group of virgin male and virgin female, group of non-virgin male, and group of non-virgin female. The non-virgin male and non-virgin female crayfish were developed from virgin male and virgin female matted, and they were used for fighting two days after matting. Video the first 45 minutes since two crayfish are put together, and record every beginning and ending moment of a aggression bout and every moment of probing, and then make the analysis. Measure the fighting intensity with the ratio of fighting duration and fighting times, and measure the willingness of fighting with the probing times. Results There are 34 repetitions in group virgin male, group virgin female, and group virgin male and virgin female,22 repetitions in group non-virgin male, and 24 repetitions in group non-virgin female. Analysis within the groups show the regular pattern of aggression behavior of crayfish in each group, and the formulas which represent the relationship between the average fighting duration and average fighting times in each one minute and the timeline, and the curves based on the formulas in each group. Analysis between groups leads to the conclusions that:1. Virgin male crayfish have longer fighting duration and higher intensity than virgin female crayfish, and both of them have longer fighting duration and higher intensity than virgin male and virgin female.2. Non-virgin female crayfish have longer fighting duration and higher intensity than non-virgin male crayfish.3. Virgin male crayfish have longer fighting duration and higher intensity than non-virgin male crayfish.4. Non-virgin female crayfish have longer fighting duration and higher intensity than virgin female. Conclusions Aggression behavior of reproductive crayfish differs between different sex and marriage status:Unmarried male have longer fighting duration and higher fighting intensity than female, while female have longer fighting duration and higher fighting intensity than male two days after marriage.
