Amblystegium is one of large and taxonomically difficult family of pleurocarpous mosses.39 genera, about 300 species of Amblystegiaceae had been reported all over the world. There are many questions about the position of genera and species owing to variations in morphological characters of gemetophytes induced by environmental condition. Therefore it is of importance for understanding bryophyte diversity and its characteristics to study systematically on Inner Mongolia Amblystegiaceae's taxonomy, floristics and distribution character. Monphology and taxonomy research were carried on Amblystegiaceae specimens from bryophyte herbaria in Inn Mongolia University. Taxonomy relations of Amblystegiaceae were studied by cluster analysis. Meanwhile in an attempt to elucidate the phylogency of morphological diversity of Amblystegiaceae, phylogenetic analysis base on DNA had been carried out.The main results as follows,1,Based on the present revisional study, 13 genera,33 species, and 4 varieties of Amblystegiaceae are considered to be taxonomically recognizable entities in Inn Mongolia. Descriptions and figure are given to each species. Four species and one variety , Platydictya jungermannioid.es (Brid) Crum,Hygroambfystegium tenax(Hedw.) Jenn., Hygrohypnum eugyrium (B.S.G) Broth, Hygrohypnum molle (Hedw.) Loeske and Drepanocladus aduncus (Hedw.) Warnst. var.kneiffii(B.S.G)Moenk.are new records to Inn Mongolia.2,Analysis of distribution shows that most Inn Mongolia Amblystegiaceae are Holarctic, predominantly distributed in arctic to temperate areas in the Northern Hemisphere. The results of research on Amblystegiaceae show that most members of this family usually grow associated with damp or aquatic condition, and number and develop degree have a little differentiated among species and genera.3,The result of cluster analysis supported some suggestions on concepts and positions of some genera and species in Amblystegiaceae. Species, which were traditionally included in widely circumscribed genera such as Hygrohypnum, do not appear as monophyletic groups. Species of Amblystegiaceae,Hygroamblystegium, and Leptodictyum,on the other hand, show a tendency to occur together. Calliergon, Drepanocladus, Warnstorfia, and Campylium uplift them to be independent genus respectively.4,In this research project, I try to analyse its phylogenetic relationship using molecular methods to get better results .I found an optimal PCR reaction conditions using LA Taq DNA polymerase. Finally I got 2 species' ITS sequences of Amblystegiaceae ,and all of them were sequenced directed from PCR products. There are Campylium hispidulum, and Sanionia uncinata..The results of this study are that I used all of ITS squences about Amblystegiaceae and combined the data downloaded from GenBank databases to establish the phylogenetic tree of Amblystegiaceae. Two main paraphyletic clades, one including Amblystegium, Cratoneuron, Hygroamblystegium, Campyliadelphus , Leptodictyum ect,and the another one including Warastorfia, Drepanocladus,Calliergon. These results ,at least, support the morphological study to Campylium, Campyliadelphus, and uplift them to be independent genus respectively.
