Research On Risk Management Of Sudden Meteorological Disaster

Sudden meteorological disaster is one of the most common natural disasters and it can cause hundreds of millions losses every year. The population is numerous, the economy is backward, and the sudden meteorological disaster occurs most frequently in Gansu Province. Therefore, study on the risk management of sudden meteorological disaster has an important significance to the disaster prevention and mitigation.Currently, the research on risk management of sudden meteorological disasters in Gansu province is relatively weak. This paper research on risk management of sudden meteorological disaster,By learning about the present research situation of sudden meteorological disasters at home and abroad, the content and framework of this study are established.Firstly, the related concepts of sudden meteorological disasters are studied. In addition, how to deal with sudden meteorological disaster by the local government and the process of sudden meteorological disaster risk management is summarized on the basis of the public management theory.Secondly, by using the comprehensive analysis method and advanced weather radar monitoring technology, the formation reasons of "6.20" extremely rainstorm in Niangniang dam of Tianshui, Gansu, was analyzed.Finally, the risk management strategy of Gansu meteorological department is proposed to deal with sudden meteorological disasters by learning from foreign experience.
