Plant electrical signal is the important physiological signals which is transmittinginformation in plant, it can reflect the status of plant own growth and the changes of environment.Fully understand the biological physics rules and characteristics of plant electrical signal, whichwill help to build scientifically plant growth environment, and to understand the plant growthstatus, so as to improve the efficiency of plant growth. It has a great significance to thedevelopment of modern "precision agriculture".Firstly the study introduced the research background, the significance, the study progress ofplant electrical signal and the development trend. Based on the features of plant electrical signal,the experiment platform on plant electrical signal acquisition was designed and developed. Onthe basis of the experimental platform run successfully, the time domain, frequency domain andtime-frequency domain related signal processing algorithms were adopted on the collectedexperimental data, made a in-depth research on the plant electrical signal features. The lightingenvironment conditions were changed by human acts, recorded the plant electrical signal data ofdifferent light conditions, respectively to study the basic characteristics, and to explore the mostsuitable lighting environment for plant growth. The main research results were as follows:(1)First of all, based on the characteristics of weak, low-frequency and time-varying onplant electrical signal, to design the analog circuit module for signal disposal, combined with NIdata acquisition card and constructed the detection experiment platform of weak electrical signal.After debugging, the experiment platform detected successfully plant electrical signal;(2)Compared the data preprocessing effect by the soft and hard threshold waveletde-noising algorithm to plant electrical signal, the effect of wavelet soft threshold de-noising wasbetter; Using the time domain analysis method to calcuate peak-to-peak value of the plantelectrical signal, the mean, variance and mean square value; The power spectrum was generatedby AR power spectrum estimation, which changed with the frequency variation; Using theshort-time Fourier transform and wavelet transform, to carry out the time-frequency analysis ofplant electrical signal, the wavelet transform is more suitable to analysis the plant electricalsignal, because it has the feature of time-frequency resolution variable;(3)Manual controlling the LED lighting environment, designed6group light conditions,used the signal acquisition experiment system recorded plant electrical signals, used time domain,frequency domain and time-frequency domain analysis algorithm to parse the data, found themost suitable light conditions for the plant growth. The experiment shows that it is feasible thatthe plant electrical signal acts as the evaluation index on plant growth status, and it can alsoguide to establish suitable environment conditions for plant development.
