The rapid development of city construction,municipal water supply plays a veryimportant role in people’s life quality and living level,its development directlyinfluences the development and construction of city economy.Therefore, theestablishment of geographic information system of water supply pipe network,scientific,modernization of management of the water supply network,has beenimminent.This topic in North China city water supply network management as the researchobject,the MapGIS K9system for network management tools,to establish theMapGIS K9of the city water supply network based management information system,which mainly includes the following:(1)To the city water supply pipeline,valves,fire hydrant and so on each kind offacility data,graphic data as the basis,elaborated on the main functions and systemcharacteristics of the process,system establishment;(2)According to the network management requirements,the depth of applicationof management information system of the water supply network,the main functionsof information management in the following three aspects:1)Water quality information management: the management and application ofthe water quality data network,a thematic map of single and multiple water qualitymonitoring,the statistical analysis of network of total bacteria,turbidity,residualchlorine and the7water quality monitoring data,in order to ensure the water qualitysecurity,provides the information management platform;2)The leakage of information management: the establishment of the leakagepoint layer,respectively. Statistical analysis of pipeline leakage pipe diameter,pipe,Water Leakage parts,Water Leakage reason,Water Leakage quantity,repair basedon time,to better grasp the law,timely repair the leakage detection,providing a database;3)Pipe burst pipe network information management:according to the pipe burstpipe repair records,a pipe burst point layer,the tube burst type pipe damage andstatistical analysis,based on the reason,and through the establishment of a buffer pipeburst analysis of pipe explosion,spatial distribution,for further study on the cause ofwater supply pipe failure,provide data support. Through the implementation of this project,the realization of the informationmanagement of the water supply pipeline network data,greatly improve the technicallevel of network management.
