This experiments were conducted under the artificial condition and the field condition, using Artemisia anethifolia as donor materials, Triticum aestivum, Lactuca sative, Suaeda glauca and Kochia scoparia as receptors, the allelopathy of aerial parts of were preliminarily analyzed.Based on the tests of seed germination and mitosis of root tips of lettuce(L.sative) leaching solution of aerial parts from A.anethifolia had negative effects on the lettuce. The germination rate, germination index and vigor index were reduced with increasing the concentration of leaching solutions. The results of inhibit effects from the leaching solutions were as followed:leaf extract> stem. The number of root tip cells remained in the prophase were increased. High concentration of leaching solution had serious effects on the chromosomes of root tip cells in the meristematic zones(for example:chromosome bridge, chromosome lagging, chromosome distraction). The preliminary results preliminary can determine proved that the aerial part of A. anethifolia part contains allelochemicals on the ground, by influencing the formation of the mitotic microtubule, and thereby affected the root growths of the plant’s seedlings growth.Based on the tests of seed germination and seedling test of wheat(T.aestivum), rate of seed germination, germination index and vigor index were reduced with increasing stress, and the inhibition effects of solutions were as followed:vigor index> germination rate>germination index, leaf extract> stem extract. The leaching solutions had effects on the various physical indexes of wheat seedlings. The root activity of wheat was promoted in the low concentration, while was inhibited in the high concentration. The same trend was obtained in the contents of photosynthetic pigments. In the wheat leaves, the activities of antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT and POD) showed a trend of decline. the contents of MDA in the wheat leaves showed the same change with the activities of antioxidant enzymes. The leaching solutions of A. anethifolia had a different effects on itself and the other species (S. glauca and K. scoparia). Leaching solutions of aerial part inhibited the germination of the three species in different degrees, the inhibition effects on the physiological indexes were as followed:vigor index> germination rate>germination index. The sensitivity of the three seeds to the leaching solutions of A.anethifolia was different. the inhibition effects were as folloed:A.anethifolia> S. glauca and>K. scoparia. The analysis of plant and soil samples from the different growth periods of A.anethifolia showed that a certain amounts of phenolic were exsisted in the seedlings of A.anethifolia and the soil cultivated the seedlings. And the contents of the total phenolic in the soil were higher than those of the plants. Along w;ith the growth and the development, the contents of total phenol in the plants and soils were dcreased. The change trends of PAL activity were similar with the total phenol contents.
