The Observation And Analysis Of Animal Fossils From Yuxi Site About T0403Excavation-squares

The Yuxi site is located in Yuxi village, Gaojia town, Fengdu country, ChongqingCity. In2004, Chongqing Institute of Archaeology excavated the Neolithic twice. Andacquisition the soil sample from T0403excavation-squares. We floated these samples,get some animal fossils and some plant charcoals. This article will research and analysisabout the animal fossils. The cultural deposits of the site are divided into8period, theyare Yuxi lower layer culture, Yuxi higher Culture, Yuxi Ping culture, Shidiba Culture,Shangzhou period, Tangsong period, Mingqing Period, Modern soil tillage. T0403excavation-squares represent two culture manifestations, Yuxi lower layer culture andYuxi higher Culture.The article have9parts, Part1is introduction, talking about Fish archaeology andSmall Animals archaeology in Neolithic. Part2is Yuxi Site survey and the exisitedresearch cultures. Part3is talking about how to get the materials. Part4, saying how toidentification and analysis animal fossils.
