3D Distributed Digital Strata And Interactive Research Based On VRML

At present, the3D geological modeling and visualization has attracted more and more attention in many fields, such as mining engineering and geology. Now3D modeling software on the market such as CAD,3D MAX, OpenGL etc. Although the powerful modeling function, but it could not be carried out under the network environment, users must download software in the local. VRML can publish the model in the network, the user can remotely observe3D model, to observe its detail structure, and the real-time interaction will come true.This paper studied the distributed virtual reality, the virtual reality environment interconnected by the Internet, share the information resources. In order to construct geological body model, according to the geological drilling data, using the appropriate algorithm, mainly used the node ElevationGrid, node IndexedFaceSet to create3D model of geological body. Based on the analysis of the formation of style, according to the principle of VRML hierarchical organization modeling, proposes the3D stratum visualization system for platform software VisualStudio2008and the three-dimensional modeling software VRMLPAD based on the combination, to facilitate data sharing and internet releasing. At the same time to explore in human-computer interaction, set up a HTML to VRML dynamic data transmission channel with the help of Javascript, so as to establish the3D modeling and visualization of VRML web publishing platform. At the same time also realize fault dynamic simulation, and to develop a three-dimensional roaming, dynamic internet simulation, change the viewpoint to display three-dimensional graphics, layer management, data query, add and delete, coordinate information query, simulation of drilling, geological body cutting and the other Relevant interactive function, realize the effective interactive function between the scene and the users.
