With the rapid development of computer hardware and software technology.Threedimensional GIS is bound to become the future development trend of GIS. In thephysical world of three dimensional GIS expression, the fine degree of objects showvery high. Which can show the user the true feeling on the scene that the twodimensional GIS cannot do.3D modeling technology can express spatial informationmore realisticly including3D object’s relative position and relative elevation.The thesis researches into the development situation, classification of the3D GIS,and summarizes the mainstream of3d data model. It analysis the advantages anddisadvantages of the3D data model comparatively. It also focuses on ArcGIS’s ownMultiPatch format and the conversion of other3D model data format. Because GISsoftware has realistic shortcomings in processing for three-dimensional model.Throughthe analysis of system use, the crowd found that the users need to express the3D objectmore meticulously to show the details. So they decided to construct terrain model byusing external modeling software. Through the comparative analysis of the mainstream3d modeling software and design on the system, and finally uses SketchUp as a3Dmodeling software, ArcScene as the Carrier of3D scene browsing and vector analysis,uses GeoDatabase spatial database to store the two-dimensional data andthree-dimensional model data, uses SQL Server2008database to storage User datastorage area in service system uses ArcEngine10.0and Microsoft Visual Studio2010asthe system developing platform, C#as the technical route for developing language.Finally, the thesis presents a district as the experimental area of the GIS system,precises modeling will plot2D vector data into SketchUp for the object, and then loadsit into ArcScene to complete the3D scene, finally realizes the customization syste m bytaking advantage of the development platform. The system can not only realize the3Dvisualization and spatial analysis function, but also has the service function of managingthe residential owners and property.The main results of the research are:Comparative analysis of relevant theories and technologies of3D GIS, andultimately determine the3D model, modeling method,modeetc.and so on;Combing SketchUp and ArcGIS, successfully solved the problems that3D scenecan display only can not execut or edit data. Through the analysis of buyers, owners and Wuguan personnel advisoryinformation, database design completed the Organization of residential buildingattribute data and the establishment of the service system, and uses the developmentplatform for the realization of3D GIS system of the cell;Display building apartment layout diagram and use360degree panoramictechnology on3D inside the buildings demonstrate the use of hyperlinks in the way ofdevelopment platform;From the study of the noise propagation attenuation theory, a suitable residentialnoise analysis method is put forward and realized.
