With China’s rapid economic and social development, China’s comprehensive national strength constantly improve people’s living standards improve. In order to better quality of life, people’s daily travel and the number of visits is constantly rising. People daily travel to select cost-effective way to travel, to understand their current location in real time, check around where services related to the spatial location information service, has become an urgent need.Currently, the speed of technological development is getting faster and faster, ten years ago, people out of reach of mobile phone, PDA and other mobile devices have become very popular, the functionality of the terminal growing more and more, but the cost is decreased, and with the emergence of a new generation of intelligent terminal operating platform and a large number of mobile terminal manufacturers into the production of handheld devices, mobile terminal applications and scalability become more and more strong. According to the World Wide Web from January2013to March, cell phones worldwide total number of units to418.6million units, which listed the number of units of the smart phone to216.2million units. According to the Nielsen2013Mobile Consumer Report, China’s mobile Internet market in2012has reached RMB158.8billion yuan, nearly570million mobile Internet users. And, the report also predicted that in the next few years, China’s domestic intelligent terminal platform holdings will further increase. Therefore, such a good market environment, the mobile terminal-based application services will have very good prospects.Article is in the context of the unprecedented development of the mobile terminal application market, study design and geographic information service system based on mobile terminal platform. The main research content of the articles related to embedded systems, GIS systems, database technology and software development technology.
