Soil and water loss is the main ecological environment problems in our country, with thedevelopment of society and economy, the condition of the regional land use change, affect thedevelopment of soil erosion."3s" technique was applied to dynamic monitoring soil erosion, which is able to timely and accurately grasp the soil erosion situation, in order to understandthe rule of soil erosion, and to determine the prevention and set up important methods and goals. The south-to-north Project is a large-scale inter-basin water diversion project of theimportant part. With the implementation of the water diversion project, the water area isincreasingly widespread concerned in the community, and its strategic position and ecologicalniches more show special and important. Therefore, the objective understanding of soil erosionstatus of the entire study area, master the implementation of the measures source area canprovide a scientific basis for policy research to protect water quality and ecological environmentof the source area.In this paper, access to water area land cover remote sensing data based on2000,2010and2013of three30m-resolution remote sensing data, object-oriented classification, and validatedagainst the ground to verify the accuracy and high resolution imaging points, respectively, theoverall classification accuracy reaches to90.8%,90.5%,90.9%; based on2000,2011and2013three30m-resolution remote sensing data, using pixel dichotomy model, using NDVIvegetation index to estimate vegetation coverage of water area, and ground photographs withsampling points classification validation error precision to meet the requirements; based on2000,2010and2013land cover data,2000,2011and2013vegetation cover data, combinedwith terrain data, GIS technology to support soil and water generation2000,2011and2013lossof data, and changes in soil erosion provincial water district, sub-city, sub-countyanalysis.Monitoring results show good posture tends of the overall ecological environment theSouth-to-north water diversion project area change from2000to2013for ten years.
