The Design And Implementation Of Urban Planning Results Data Management Information System

With the fast development of the social economy, the incessant expansion of the urban constructionscale and the increased urban planning management work, the traditional methods of artificial managementand information query and analysis can’t satisfy the requirement of the modern urban planningmanagement any more. Accompanied by the quickening informationization process, it is imperative toestablish the urban planning results data management information system, which is based on the GIS. Theestablishment of this system plays an important role in the improvement of the urban planningachievements management system and ensures that the urban planning and management is reasonable,scientific and normative. This system is very important to the implementation of the automating work,information management and scientific decision-making of the urban planning management departmentand also promotes the improvement of work efficiency and the development of the digital city’sconstruction.This paper is based on the project of "urban planning achievements management information systemof Bengbu". Considering the existing achievements of urban planning management and the in-depthanalysis of user needs, the overall design of the urban planning results data management informationsystem, based on C/S three-tier architecture system, is implemented in this paper. According to thecharacteristics of urban planning, urban planning results are properly organized and combined with theOracle and ArcSDE technology, the design of the urban planning results database is completed, whichprovides a better solution to the integration management of spatial data and non-spatial attribute data. Byusing ArcGIS engine component platform and object oriented programming language c#, the design andpreliminary implementation of urban planning management information system are accomplished. Thissystem has many functions such as system management, file management, the land status quo management,results data management, planning data query, aid decision making, drawing output, system settings andso on. The system designed in this project has the custom menu service, which meets the needs ofnonprofessional users,and a flexible way of disposal. This system, which implements the simple query toretrieve and provides the comprehensive decision analysis, has a certain use value to the informationmanagement of urban planning.
