Although, the feasibility would be imbalance in different areas, it should practice step by step according to the local situation. So some areas should continue mainly on family care, and level off land security to provide for the elderly properly.Currently, the practical choice to solve the problem is to combine the family care, social insurance and land security together, and build a solid system for the aged in the country. In the long term our country will build insurance system for the aged which mainly based on social insurance than family care, but now the insurance system has different standard in the city and the country which need to be improved in the future. Besides, the off-farm workers in the city that have a large number and have a double attribute in farmer and citizen should not be ignored, we have to secure their related benefit and respect them as labors.Because of short time to explore social insurance system for the aged in the countryside, and lacking proper, successful experience from the foreign countries to learn, we have to create by ourselves. The most important problem of this system is the management and operation of the fund, so we should found a fund for the social insurance system for the aged in the countryside. Our government should increase finance support, create condition to make profit of the fund and supervise the operation of the fund. In order to fit for our country's status, the treatment and social insurance system for the aged should be more Chinese characteristics.
