Empirical Research On China's Service Trade Promoting Economic Growth

By the rapid development of service trade, it influenced global economy more and more deeply. The thesis tried to analysis the influence of service trade to economic growth.Firstly, based on the characteristic of service industry of our country, this thesis analysis the approach of service trade boost economic growth: service trade could boost consumption at home and abroad, and then stimulate economic growth; service trade raised the efficiency; service trade could prompt employment; service trade could optimize the exit structure; service trade can boost investment. The thesis also established the theoretical model. According to the theoretical model, if we just considered the direct influence, could establish a model.Secondly, this thesis used international trade and economic growth theory, did empirical analysis on service boosting economic growth. The research used the database 1985-2003 about service export, service import, consumption, investment, based on traditional means, measured the contribution rate, and the trend of service trade boost economic growth.
