The Impact Of Regional Innovation On Regional Diversity

Nowadays areas in China have got the development of economy, but every area in China had developed diversely, especially the diversity between the east area and the west, because of the influents of many factors such as the different place character, the quality and quantity of local people, resources, development level and so on. More and more scholar takes their hands in the research about how to reduce the diversity between areas. Regional innovation is an important power.Based on the former research,the paper discussed about the relation between regional innovation and regional diversity. According to analyse the conception and the character of regional diversity and summarize the former research fruit,the paper discussed the instability in the structure of regional diversity and the influence factors.Regional innovation can reflect the competitive advantage of a region, but how much regional diversity comes from regional innovation? Based on study the impact of regional innovation on regional diversity, this paper does substantial evidents on 31 regions in China to research how to reduce regional diversity, how regional innovation does impact on regional diversity measurement and provides theoretical base for relative regional policies, provide policy evidence for developing poor regional economy.
