A Study On The Comparisons Of Software Outsourcing Industry In China And India

Recent years, China has made considerable progress in the field of softwareoutsourcing industry, but there still exists the disparity on the scope and quality ofsoftware outsourcing between China and India. This article tries to propose thestrategies for Chinese software outsourcing industry by comparing domestic market,company size, software R&D process management, human resource, and culturebackground between these two countries. Firstly, the analysis shows that thepredominance of Chinese software outsourcing industry is the huge domestic softwaremarket, which should be highly concerned when the U.S. and European market isbeing actively exploited. Secondly, the size and service quality of software companiesof China is pale by comparison to that of India, so China should support severalimportant companies, standardize their action and made them multinationalcorporation. And thirdly, China should establish a whole set of human resourcetraining system to bring up multi-level software practitioner.
