With China opening the door to the world twenty years ago, private economy in China has developed rapidly. A lot of non-state-run enterprises develop the world market positively, and now have become the role growth point in the foreign trade. In 2004, non-state-run enterprises' export value broke through one hundred million dollars and reached billion $101.16. While the export value increases annually, export competitiveness of non-state-run enterprises is still very weak, owing to their enterprise scale, management ability, R&D and environment outside enterprise. So it is very import to make a research on export competitiveness of non-state-run enterprises in China. The paper includes six chapters .The main contents are described as follows:The first chapter mainly introduces the background and methods of research in this paper, making a conclusion on competitiveness studied at home and abroad. The second chapter describes the export situation of non-state-run enterprises in China. In this chapter, the paper defines "non-state-run enterprise" firstly, analyses their development background and process, and then introduces the current development of them. The third chapter mainly analyses the export competitiveness of non-state-run enterprises in China from three respects, they are export competitiveness of product, export competitiveness of marketing and export modes. At last the paper put forward such an opinion that non-state-run enterprises in China have possessed rather export competitiveness of traditional products, but the other two respects are still weak. The fourth chapter discloses that enterprises' scale, management ability, R&D and outside environment of enterprise affect the export competitiveness mainly. The fifth chapter suggests that we can cultivate the export competitiveness through creating good outside environment, developing enterprise clusters and strengthening the core competitiveness of non-state-run enterprises. The last chapter makes a conclusion about the whole paper, and indicates the creative points and shortcomings in the paper.
