Study On The Problems And Countermeasures In Agricultural Development Of Our Country Under The Foreign Trade

The agriculture is always a particularly important industry to socialist market economy of China. China joined WTO in Dec.2001 before China have not finished her market economic reform. Under foreign trade conditions,this brings China with chances as well as challenges. We must take advantage of the development opportunity that the world and home markets bring to us,let the opportunity service for us.At the same time,we are cope with the fierce competition of the two markets,and must explore the coping strategy of agricultural internationalization.We hope that Chinese agriculture bring to bear it's comparative advantage. We are explore the path of agricultural development enter upon a new historical stage,and determine strategy measures.This is the purpose of the study.It has great significance for reality.The point of penetration of this thesis is Chinese agricultural system.The author uses the method of system analytical, empirical analysis, comparative analyse,and combines qualitative investigation with quantitative study. The thesis analyzes the present status,the basic structure ,comparative advantage and competitive disadvantage of Chinese agriculture.It is argued that: agricultural resources are scarce,and the less cultivated land per head are our disadvantage,but more labour force is our advantage.Chinese agriculture should develop the labour concentrated industry,and break constraints,and get virtuous cycle.On the basis of these prominent problem,the author puts forward the whole thought which are the modern agriculture and prominent agriculture,and suggests four basic strategies(1)Quicken the adjustment of agricultural structure;(2)Advance the process of agricultural industrialization;(3)Strengthen the building of agricultural standardization;(4)Reinforce governmental support to agriculture.The author use these theories , methods and ideas of macroeconomics , microeconomics , economics for development , institutional economics and environmental economics. The thesis is focus on the problems that exist in agricultural development,and fund a function mode and function content,and prove the effect.
