Study On The Partner Selection Of Xiamen Port Strategic Alliance

As the important seaport of foreign trade of our country, the port plays a great role in economic development of our country. Recently, The rapid development of China's economy and the establishment of its "world processing factory" status have led to the growth of China's seaports and the river ports both in the amount and the scale. Hence there comes another round of the port construction boom in China. Nevertheless, during the development of the ports, there are many problems such as the unreasonable function orientation, malignant competition, port resources waste and the ports repeated constructions, etc. Such problems could cause the port operation inefficiency, as well as become the restriction of the regional economy's development. Building the port strategic alliance is the key to solve this problem.At first, the paper introduced the background and meanings of writing, detailed analyzed the domestics and international research present condition of strategic alliance, partner selection of strategic alliance and the port strategic alliance, also the main structure. Second, carried out the detailed treatise to the definition, classification, partner selection of strategic alliance and the development of port strategic alliance. In the chapter 3 analyzed the developing condition of Xiamen port and the port around it, brought forward the need of Xiamen port to build the port strategic alliance with the port around it. In the chapter 4, after the choose of the integrated judgment mode, used the fuzzy judgment built the port strategic alliance partner selection integrated judgment mode. By using the mode to judge the candidate port for the alliance: Fuzhou port, Zhangzhou port, Quanzhou port. In the chapter 5, qualitative analyzed the result of the judgment, brought forward the Xiamen port strategic alliance development step in nowadays, also gave the suggestion of the development of Xiamen port strategic alliance. In the end of the paper tallied up the full text, pointed out the shortage of the thesis research, and put forward the future study direction. To expect the thesis will be a little benefit to the real decision-making of development of Xiamen port.
