Research On ERP Implementation

This article, based on many cases of ERP implementation and the research of a large quantity of information, summarizes the experiences and lessons by using the method of strategy delaminating. Two micro-motor companies are contrasted to make the analysis. And then the experiences and lessons in domestic companies are classified by using the method of strategy delaminating in order to increase maneuverability for companies. At last, the author tries to give his own opinion of ERP implementation. In the part of beginning, the concept of ERP and its phylogeny are introduced. After the development of ERP software market was described, the present status of ERP implementation in domestic companies is reviewed. In the part of case study, these two cases are introduced and contrasted from the point of outline, present problems, implementation policy, extension, anticipation results, organizing system, schedule, plan management, project quality management, project risk control, workflow, and so on. During the explanation, the author focuses on the difference of basic management level, the maturity of basic data, present information level and the attitude for ERP of high-mid management. As a result, the measure of implementation of them is also different. After the purpose of ERP implementation in domestic companies is reviewed, the experiences and lessons are summarized, which were concluded in the above cases. At the same time, some lessons from society environment and ERP software company or consultation company are also mentioned in order to avoid analysis confusion. And then a model is set up, in which these lessons are ranged into the quadrant. After that, the author gives his own opinion on the tactic of ERP implementation for domestic companies because the market now is highly competitive and many companies also want to know how to implement ERP more effectively just according to their own management level. Finally, the author prospects the future of ERP implementation in domestic companies.
