The Study Of Rural Consumption Rate In China

Household consumption is the main part of final consumption and rural consumption is the main part of household consumption, which is defined by special situation in our country. Household consumption rate is the key point of studying household consumption. Rural consumption rate is one index of reflecting rural consumption. The rural consumption is not so satisfied nowadays. How to solve the problem of low rural consumption rate is the basis of making economics policies. As the data analysis to rural consumption rate in our country since reform and opening-up.This paper gives the reasons of low rural consumption rate as following: Low level of rural residents' income; large number of rural savings; the big income-gap among farmers and the low level of urbanization and clear dualistic structure; supports of economic macro-policy is not enough; the rural consume environment is not so ideal, etc.After analyzing the difficulties and feasibility of the low rural consumption rate, there are many correlative economics policies and constructive suggestions following: heightening the level of rural income; regulating macro-policies to increase rural consumption; improving consume environment and complete agricultural products systems; decreasing the gap of rural and urban level, strengthening urbanization level and forming harmonious society, etc.
