Nationalism is influencing and transforming the world with its enormous shock power since produced in modern times, determining development and development of the history of various countries and international relations pattern to a great extent. But the economy of nationalism i.e. economic nationalism have been neglected by everybody during a long time. What this text studied is the economic nationalism problems of contemporary developing countries, comparative analysis of contemporary Latin America and East Asia model.Economic nationalism is a kind of basic pattern of the nationalism, refer to a series of thoughts and practices: the fate shared in economy, the national country's responsibility to safeguard and promote country's whole national interests in interdependent economic system, promoting development and modernization of the national country and occupying the status in the international political system. Compared with traditional economic nationalism, contemporary economic nationalism has a lot of new characteristics, its type has changed too.The economic nationalism of contemporary Latin America and East Asia is the most typical in the economic nationalism of developing countries, they have in common, but more represent requirements of different regions, with a heterosexual. They have a lot of valuable experience, the development of current developing countries stills have its realistic enlightenment;They also have many deficiencies, the need for improvement. It is very necessary for us to make comparisons to these two kinds of typical economic nationalism (mode), to find their own path of development suited to individual countries.As for the biggest developing nation-China, now is the time of great nationalrejuvenation, we need development idea of suitable for us, walking our China's characteristic development path. In our path, it will inevitably lead to the rapid development of such countries like China experienced economic nationalism in other countries tenacious resistance, the many cases against China's trade protection will increase this wave either. The economic nationalism of developed countries against us (mainly trade protection) is bound to affect relations between the nations and proposed countermeasures are urgently required.
