The operation of underground project is full of uncertainties(risks) which influence the all stages of its construction. In order to lower the adverse influence, it's necessary for us to have a systemic and thorough risk analysis on its early stage and provide the relevant evadible policy and detailed measures against the main risks. This paper aims at supplying a set of methods of risk analysis in underground project, which will make owners have a whole risks analysis on projects' early stage and then take measures earlier .It can also make contractors to analyse risks befor bid and decide whether to tender. This this paper is based on risk management theory and takes the procedure of risk management risk manage as the main line. It mainly discussed the content and corresponding techniques of risk identification, estimation and evaluation aiming at the characteristics of underground engineering projects. This paper's innovations consist:No1. Factor analysis approach widely used in other fields is introduced here except applying some methods used in usual projects' risk analysis into underground engineering projects' risk analysis efficiently .No2 Different methods (qualitative methods, quantitative methods or combination of the both) are adopted to estimate risks aiming at different risks of underground engineering projects .No3 Setting up an indexes system suitable for risk assessment of underground engineering projects .The paper analyses and estimates the risks of undergroung engineering projects , at the same time , small demonstrations are given..At last, taking the adjustive project of 2nd Guangzhou Metro for example from the contractors' angle , the paper assesses its whole risks and makes the conclusion...
