| New country construction is an important topic for discussion in this year's NPC (theNational People's Congress) and CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference),growing and strengthening the rural economy, solving farmer employment, and increasingfarmer income are center links during constructing the socialism new country, however, ruralfinance problem is a key point of new country construction. It plays a supporting role for thedevelopment of rural economy and the increase of farmer income to construct rural financesystem.On the consideration of great regional diversity, via the relative thesis on rural finance,based on the structure analysis between the regional country finance development and farmerincome increase, applying the practical data from 1996 to 2004, the empirical analysis betweenthe regional rural finance development and farmer income increase has been done, from whichwe can find out shortage of our total rural finance level, and little contribution on the farmerincome. On the other hand, there is great regional distinction of rural finance impacting on theincrease of farmer income. Starting from the analysis above, a brief policy proposal on how topromote farmer income by developing rural finance is referred. |
